Someone needs to smack him upside the head...I swore the hit would be in the area $7 million...$6.33 million, simply awesome. The years mean nothing. And, I believe Richards will be productive late into the contract. He's be the perfect bridge for allowing Step to properly develop at the right pace, and should have a positive effect on Step's development.
Man, Brad must not have wanted the pressure of having a huge cap hit. Which is why he'll succeed here. At 6.5M per he's definitely not overpaid. Thus, he's in less danger of being scrutinized if he goes on a cold streak.
