Management for exploding a team that made it to the Cup Finals one year and was the class of the East through the first part of the next until a combination of injuries and bad goal tending made us free fall.

There will be no scapegoat. A 39 year old with Derian Hatcher speed will lead us to 16 consecutive playoff wins.

I'd say Lavy though I don't see him lasting all season if they start off poor and continue down that road. Player wise on here it is always Carle on here even though I think he is a solid player. Player wise for me probably hmmm idk I will just say the coach because he is the one that is suppose to put them in positions to succeed and he didn't do that last season.

They just fired most of the players. They chose Lavi over another coaching carousel, I doubt Lavi is going anywhere in the forseeable future.

Jagr and Pronger.

Jagr for not performing well and Pronger for being the reason we had to change the environment of the locker room.

I think it'll easily be Bryz, Voracek and Lavy in no particular order. Whoever posted that story about Voracek's partying opened up a huge can of worms. He will be a Richards/Carter hybrid in terms of party lifestyle.

Coatesy.

What the ****ing hell has he contributed? If you ask me his drunken ass is the one who influenced Cater and Richards to drink every night.

Bryz is the easy one...Jagr too. I'm going out on a limb and saying Simmonds/Schenn if they don't surpass what people think Richards would have done/would be doing in LA.

Jagr, because he will not be the player he was 5 yrs ago, Matt Carle, because people believe he is the reason for any loss, and after these two have gone, Bryzgalov. The people of Philadelphia believe that it is the job of an NHL goaltender to play like Tim Thomas' playoff run, or Hasek in his prime every night and win games singlehandedly, which seldom happens for any goalie. Since Bryzagalov will not do this, there will be cries for a #1 goalie half way through the year.

Yes... I suppose you can look at it as their going against the old tried and true saying that you change coaches because you can't get rid of the whole team... Well they didn't get rid of the entire team but they did gut the long time established core Offense, and overhauled the Goaltending.

...My answer to the question is that the true Flyers fan will yield to tradition and ride one D-man and call for the backup goalie to start... So my money is on Carle... with Bryz to hear it if he is short of the second coming of Bernie Parent.

I was thinking this.

if Jagr doesn't put up PPG numbers, then, him too.

It shall be whoever The Anton chooses to be the scapegoat of his kingdom. Most likely Pronger, as he is the only player who be able to meet The Anton's slapshot standards, and The Anton doesn't like competition

Yeah, we re going to still be hearing that phrase a lot. Apparently we may also hear "He shoots...and it's...straight up and backwards??!"

The Anton is not pleased with this behavior, therefore he may not decide to spare us from our ultimate doom if he chooses another city as his kingdom. Also, it is not a joke, just mere fact. (by the way im mentioning him because we are rumored to be interested in him and i can understand that because of the carle rumors.)

Expectations from the fans base should be lowered this coming Season. I'll be happy with making the playoffs. Now 2-3 years from now, they better be a top team.
