Anyone hear of the of the band Soinc Youth?

My friend is opening for them Oct 15th at the Whiskey. I was wondering what to expect.

You cna check out my friend anf her music at www.carmelhelene.com She is totally hot and a super nice person We met throug me being one of her "honaray solrd gold stage dancers: though another gig she does with a cover and I go and see.

ps it is totally hard to trpe wasted.

It does not really matter anymore, LOL....I talked to Carmel today and the Whiskey site is up for that night. She had it wrong when she told me, Doh.....I'll stay for her opening act and then probably go elsewhere( if I'm not laid up elsewhere). It's a band called Atomic Youth and they look like a tribute band and I HATE tribute bands. I think they do Van Halen or something like that. UGGG. She's so not that. A gig is gig when your getting a record deal I suppose.

Anyways...yeah, you have to be pretty young not to know of Sonic Youth. I like the comparisons made to Velvet Underground.
