Makes less sense that some question whether it'd be worth dealing Subban, I think.
If it was straight up Subban vs Doughty, then yes. But you'd have to think that the Habs would have to add to that trade.

I don't see Subban leaving the city any time soon. He's THE fan favorite.

Wow..I am glad this is back..

I do not know if you guys heard but the last I heard from *************** was

The mystery team for Richards was MTL and MTL`s offer was enough to make Richards sleep on it. They tried ot unload Gomez to Islanders + prospect but Gomez jynxed it and the deal fell through not only for Gomez but also Richards
But he did say they are working on another deal and should be completed tonight. I think it is the MTL-CHI deal.

As for me, I am glad the richards deal did not happen..

You obviously do not get the point of this.

We are in the "rumours from non-credible SOURCES" thread, where the sources are not to be believed but the rumours are!!

Trading Subban would be a sideways move. Yeah Doughty might be a bit better, but the difference in cap space he'll eat up will negate any advantages.

Avid reader, hardly ever post... however 2 things.
First - thanks for re-opening this thread, i was having a field day laughing at the stuff posted in here.
Second - The Kings are my 2nd team, and Doughty is my dream to be with the Habs. Now, besides that I doubt this EVER happens..... Someone did say (i believe it was Thefourthperiod on twitter) that when the Kings went to Richards and showed him the DVD or whatever, they didn't mention Doughty at all, and he said this was per Meehan.
Now, I have no idea how credible that is, but I would simply faint if Doughty joined the Habs.
Anyways, keep up the great work on this board! Love this site

A

I wouldn't care if we had to start the season with White at 2nd line centre if we could acquire Doughty lol

The guy not only creates fake rumors but he's not even bright enough to create ones that make sense.

DT had a brief conversation with El Cloun on whether or not he should reveal the information he just got from his well placed source. They were both apparently very hesitant to share it so he just spilled out part of it. Here it is:

Be careful, there are alot of IFs.

*IF Doughty doesn't come to terms with the Kings, there will be a trade with the Habs.

*IF and ONLY IF this trade gets completed, it'll make you fall on your ass like i did! WOW!

*Sorry I cannot share more than that at the moment. We now have to wait to see if Doughty signs or not with the Kings.

*Everything will play out depending on if Doughty signs with the Kings or not.
LMAO!!

Does anyone actually believe this guy?

Eldorado, another one from the vestiaire gang tweeted the following..

"Just got whispered that something big is about to go down.."

Anybody who follows these guys regularly, knows that they are very credible, just like ***************..

DT, Eldorado and ***************'s infos all link to one another.

They called a few things before. So I follow them with some interest.

To be honest, I don't know why people get so caught up with rumors on the Internet. It's just fun speculation, but some people take it to a whole new level of serious.

Question...

What are some examples calls that DT and Eldorado got right?

To add to the spirit of this thread, I heard that the team that made Richards think long and hard was the Flames.
