It's certainly fun to dream...hate to burst everyone's bubble, Doughty's not going anywhere folks.

He's morphing into stage 3 soon though.

I've read he's not in shape and likes the nightlife a little too much. Really talented player though.

Would you do it? Beaulieu + 1st round pick for Doughty?

I would do it without any hesitation. Doughty is a proven star. Beaulieu and the 1st are still prospects.

I'd buy a airplane ticket for Beaulieu and carrying Doughty hockey bag to the hotel.

I'd fly to L.A drive Doughty to LAX comeback to Montreal prepare Beaulieu's hockey bag, cook him supper and drive him to Trudeau.

Will also throw in some popcorn and soft drinks for both rides.

Seriously, just the thought of having Subban and Doughty on the same team gives me chills down my spine.

not the kind of player canadiens are after, talent is great but there's more to playing for this team than talent... we've seen what happens when the young stars on this team have too much fun (read: '08-09)

Who ever grew up being a Kings fan seriously?

Are you kidding me? Absolutely!

I have to think though that if the Kings are after anyone in Montreal it's Price. And, no, I would not do a Doughty/Quick or Bernier for Price swap.

Although, they could use another winger even with the signing of Gagne. After Dustin Brown and Justin Williams, it gets very thin on RW. Maybe they want Moen in order to create a 3rd line shut down line with Stoll & Clifford. Who knows?

Jesus, if that's true "Gomez on the decline" now means so much more than just his play last season.

Meh, I'm really not that big on him. I'm probably the only one in the boat here, but I just wouldn't do it. Just my opinion though.

There's a reason why these people on twitter predict trades happening between two teams, then suddenly a trade happens that they never once mentioned.

That is why they find themselves in this thread.
