We agree on that at least...

It all depends how well Ritchie and Carter do for their new teams as far as determining the whipping boy.If the Kings roll and Ritchie plays well while the Flyers are off to a slow start..........all bets are that Homer may feel the heat [even though Snider may have played a huge part in this].Pronger will probably get the captains job, and he will certainly feel the wrath as well.

There are so many to choose from...

I'll go with one of Jagr/Carle/Bryzgalov

Unless Bryzgalov steals 1-2 series, it will be him. This is an organization (and fanbase to an extent) that has been very stingy when it comes to giving goaltenders money...now that we've shelled out the cash, he better walk on water or I would assume he'll get a lot of flak in Philly.

As for me? It's already Snider/Holmgren.

Yeah, every time I see a bad PK or a forward struggle in a defensive situation they shouldn't be in, I'm going to call for Snider's head.

I agree completely. Bryzgalov is in a no win situation. If he wins, that is expected. If he loses, he'll be crucified.

Holmgren is in a sort of no -win situation as well, because the fall-out from the Carter and Richards trades won't be known until we see what becomes of Schenn, Voracek, and Couturier. But if Carter and Richards light the league on fire, Holmgren will catch the heat.

Technically speaking, doesn't he do that every time he laces up his skates?

Homer will probably get fired if things go badly even though the Richards/Carter trades were made because of Snider. No way Snider blames himself.

Homer is doomed to be the scapegoat until the Flyers win a cup or he is fired, whatever occurs first.
I hope they don't dump Jody Shelley. As long as he is on the roster he takes away some of the heat from the new players.

Probably pronger, they'll probably spin it like it's "his" team now. And though he talks to the media, he generally treats timmy p like the idiot his is.
