Sabres in trouble?

I have to post this since I find it very interesting; Sabres cap

Roster: 20 players

13 forwards, 6 defense man and ONLY ONE GOALIE no back-up

Their Cap space: $354,643
so the have to get ride of someone (a forward) with an already thin lineup

And they have to chose from those beneath.

http://capgeek.com/charts.php?Team=8

FORWARDS (13) $42,183,690
Vanek, Thomas $7,142,857 $7,142,857 $7,142,857 UFA
Pominville, Jason NMC/Modified NTC (can provide an eight-team no-trade list) $5,300,000 $5,300,000 $5,300,000 UFA
Leino, Ville $4,500,000 $4,500,000 $4,500,000 $4,500,000 $4,500,000 $4,500,000 UFA
Roy, Derek $4,500,000$4,000,000 $5,500,000$4,000,000 UFA
Stafford, Drew $4,000,000 $4,000,000 $4,000,000 $4,000,000 UFA
Boyes, Brad $4,000,000 UFA
Hecht, Jochen $3,525,000 UFA
Kotalik, Ales NTC $3,000,000 UFA
Gaustad, Paul 2,300,000 UFA
Gerbe, Nathan $1,433,333 $1,433,333 $1,433,333 RFA
McCormick, Cody $1,200,000 $1,200,000 $1,200,000 UFA
Kaleta, Patrick $907,500 RFA
Ennis, Tyler EL $875,000 RFA
UFA Grier, Mike $ $1,500,000
UFA Niedermayer, Rob $ $1,250,000
UFA Ellis, Matt $ $625,000

so who goes?

edit: I tried to move it and make some space between names and numbers so it wouldn't be so blurred but without success.

BTW according to CBA

16.4 Active Roster Size; Playing Roster.
(a) For the 2005/06 League Year and thereafter, there shall be a maximum of
twenty-three (23) Players on each Club's Active Roster at any one time, provided,
however, that, on the date of each season's Trade Deadline, a Club's Active Roster may
be increased to any number of Players the Club, in its discretion, so determines, subject to
Article 50 hereof.
(b) Except in case of emergency, there shall be no reduction of the required
minimum Playing Rosters of the Clubs, below eighteen (18) skaters and two (2)
goaltenders.

Can't find what happens if you violate the active roster regulation. ...probably nothing?

Kotalik will most likely be sent to Rochester (AHL).

Then you need a defense man (6 defense men now) and a goalie to keep 20 players on the roster.

Isn't Enroth and RFA? He should be re-signed soon.

If you move Kotalik you can resign Enroth but you are still short a man.

If they sign Enroth and Sekera and you add Luke Adam and or Kassian they really are not gonna have a problem. As mentioned they will send Kotalik to the minors.

The Caps have a similar problem as they still need to sign Alzner and Brouwer and have a cap hit of $63.7M. However I have heard that Poti will start the season on the long term injury list.
