Just pulled some strings, looks my wife and I will be in NY for that game in the press box.

With any luck we'll get a chance to see him.

Now I just have to tell my wife that we won't be going out to a local restaurant for her birthday (same day).

The Richter jersey retirement was such an amazing experience, I think it is safe to say that this one will be even better. I hope I can manage to snag a few seats.

SoS...

I was out there trying to snag $70 seats int he 100s....they seemed to go while I was registering as a first-time user.

338 are good seats. I sat there for years (row d, seats 1 and 2 in the aisle). The only problem is that it's right off the gate and if you're in the first few rows, you will be annoyed with the traffic in front of you. It's between the blue line and what was previously the red line, now called center ice, I guess. I may be there too (in 338 since my friend still has those seats), or I may be somewhere else, or I may be home.

Ha ha... good luck with that mate... we're all rooting for you. If possible, try to convince her that's what she really wants... to see Messier's number retired for her birthday.

Just order some fine food...

into the box...there's a great slection of meats... You have a great wife if she's willing to fly 8 months due. I'm trying to see how I'm going to attend - I may try to get a job as the beer man for a week to get in.

She's actually handling the whole pregnancy A-okay.

This is the last hurrah for a little while so we'll make it fun.

It'll be my first time back in the garden in....yikes two years.

Expect lots of tears of joy, especially from those who experienced '94 and saw the final game. Mark Messier!

They're playing the oilers... I imagine Leetch would be allowed to attend, unless he has a game or something else comes up.

Thanks for the info.

My mini-plan tickets are in section 326. I honestly think the 300's are the best place to watch a game but to each his own. I'm shocked how much tickets are selling for on ebay and stubhub. I love messier but no way would i pay a mortgage payment for tickets to a game.
