And where are we supposed to get the cap space to pull off the deal? And doesn't Eklund imagine Lombardi wouldn't want to deal with Steve Tambellini anymore?

Would be crazy, but completely impossible. But if it were we would look like:
Penner-Kopitar-Hemsky
Gagne-Richards-Williams
Clifford-Stoll-Brown
Of course, this combination would last 4-5 games before being broken up due to injury

We're gonna corner the market on oft' injured Oilers player trades
I don't believe it until dancing-boy says it will happen along with the trade for Eric Lindros

If they got Hemsky, we'd have to call this team the Floilers or something.

LOL Eklund. First of all the Oilers and King aren't going to be trading with each other for a while after the Smyth fiasco.
And if they do anytime recently it better be a fifth round pick for Hemsky since it's obvious that they're going to trade him because he needs urgent medical care that the Oilers can't give and the Kings are going to have a problem with the NHL stepping in again. Drama.

4-5 preseason games because it won´t work cap wise

Because he didnt do anything in camp to show that he was NHL ready. Only time will tell if this was a fluke year for him or not.

Penner-Kopitar-Williams
Gagne-Richards-Brown
Parse-Stoll-Richardson
Clifford-Lewis-Holloway/Westgarth
Sounds good to me I seriously don't think DL will do anything further. Parse's last chance to prove himself and knowing Murray he'll have his chance on every line lol

I read that too.
I have a hard time believing that the asking price has gone from Schenn to Hickey OR Voynov.

An injury prone Oiler? No thanks. Thank goodness, he sucks when it comes to trade rumors.

Also, Tambo wants to re-sign Hemsky. He was also at the development camp with our prospects. I don't think he'll be dealt til at least the TDL.

Did you realize: The NHL's closest current player to Bobby Clarke is now a King!
I wasn't overly familiar with MR before the trade.
I just knew he was a leader and very good player for Philly, but few specifics.
But I been a' readin' lately.
Lotsa' stuff out there to read about the dude, and I've only just scratched the surface.
Whoa.
Whoa again.
If Brayden Schenn doesn't turn out to be an outright
star , Paul Holmgren will be lynched.
Teams just don't normally trade such a player at age 26.
Mike Richards is a lot like Clarke, perhaps minus the most extreme parts of BC's meanness & dirtyness?
Although I am not even quite sure about that.
But the skill, speed, agressiveness, defensive prowess, creativity and
leadership ability, and
balls , are definitely there, in spades.
Flyer fans thought so too...

and an early Junior Hockey article where he is compared to
both Clarke and Doug Gilmour:

Afte reading that last article, I'm thinkin' maybe we should bring back Petr Kanko. (!!??)

What Hemsky would mean is that we can't run around with million dollar players being scratched (or even 800Kish). If you're not on the ice, or on the 4th line, you need to be making close to the league minimum (500-600K). Same goes with the defense.
We could squeeze him in (of course depending on DD) but we'd have to make some tough choices on guys like Richardson or some of the other mid-level prospects.
That's why D-Drewiske is just a great player. Cheap and thereby allows the guys actually on the ice to be more expensive. We're going to have to do this with the 11-14 forwards eventually.

Source = Eklund
Eklund's Source = Dancing Boy
Therefore, Dancing Boy = Source
Kinda reads like an Echer painting...

Hemsky would be good to have and it's an easy choice to make, Richardson would have to go in a following deal and I'm fine with that. Rolling three lines would be great.

This totally makes sense from a perspective of us needing to unload at least one of the prospective dman.
