Flyers GOAL SONG for 2011-12
Any suggestions?
How about "Greased Lightnin'" from the musical Grease. It's catchy.

Uh, what?
Pretty sure they're going to stick with the DOOP that the Union use.

Looks like it's time to warm up the Beating Stick.

"Doop" for when the regulars score
"Dude looks like a lady" when Jagr scores
"Bro Hymn" for when Carter, Richards, Lupul, upshall, or any other Olde City pack member scores.
"Summer Breeze" for when Bryz scores.

Rock N Roll by Led Zep anyone?
My beef is more with the crappy warm up music, it's like they are jay z's 40/40 club or something. Why can't it be like the good old days, with goo 80's rock mix in with some top 40.
I moonlight as a DJ, and some highschool boy asked me to play greased lightning, took a lot of control not to smack him upside the head.

Bro Hymm = Flyers
Doop = Union
Why would we change it from Bro Hymm?

When I think of Bro Hymn, I associate it with the Richards/Carter "era." That's now over, so I think it's time for something new.
I sure as hell don't like Doop, but at least no other NHL team does it. So that's a plus.

I think Metallica Disposable Heroes would be pretty appropriate

too much noise
Just as a side note, is it just me or do others agree that the music during warm-ups and also during stoppages of play is just too darn LOUD? I'm at a hockey game for golly sakes, not a concert. It's almost as bad as Wings indoor lacrosse that plays music DURING the game play.

"Won't Back Down" during the warmups is loud as ****, especially with the bass being cranked up all the way. Personally, I don't mind it but I can see how it annoys some people.
