If gionta and patches score a combined 45 goals this team is in trouble. It will mean gomez wont crack 50 pts. Im hoping gionta scores 30 and Pacioretty 27

That's the potential I see in each guys for this season. I placed a + near the guys I think got a high chance of reaching it and a - near the 1s I think got less of a chance of reaching it. The 1s with no +/- I believe got as much chance of reaching it or not.

Alot of people see the comin of Cole the 6th who comes fill our top 6 with Pacioretty. I believe we'll see alot of swaps in the top 9 this year. Gionta, Gomez, Plekanec and Cammy are rly the only 1s I see with a ''secure'' spot in the top 6. Starting from there, we got alot of options within Cole, Kostitsyn, Pacioretty, Eller, Desharnais and even Darche! On paper a top 9 like this 1 makes you drool thinking of the chemistry there was with AK-Eller Gomez-Pac and Plek-Cammy.

Cammy - Plekanec - Cole
Pacioretty - Gomez - Gionta
Darche/Desharnais - Eller - AK

But I could see something in the lines of this work

Cammy - Plekanec - AK/Cole
Pacioretty - Eller/Desharnais - Cole/AK
Darche - Gomez/Desharnais - Gionta

AK and Cole can be swapped but the ATM line worked before. Darche worked well with Gomez and Gio last year. It would be more of a 2nd 2nd line than a 3rd line. Pac/Eller/Cole would be a hard working 2nd line with big bodies up front. The reason I've put Desharnais up there is that I think theres a chance we might see him in a 2nd line scenario this season. Him and Pac is like peanut butter and jelly, its a perfect fit. Add Cole or AK to the mix and you've got a great line. Each players got their way of playing and they fit with different type of players. Cole with a great passer and fast line mates will thrive the most. He needs some1 who can make a solid pass on the tape like Cory Stillman wich is why I'm not to worry about him producing this year even if he joins a new team. Gomez, Plekanec, Desharnais and Eller are all great passers.
