He'll do bloody well, and I can offer my double-barreled guarantee with that one.

If a .912 svpct gets you a 2.32 gaa, then your team defense is doing some serious heavy lifting.

He'll do very well, but not well enough to silence the dumb Philly fans who know nothing about goaltending and only heard on Daily News that he may not be great in the playoffs or worth his big cap hit.

If Panotch sees a reason not to like him and blab on CSN about it, expect decline in public opinion to accelerate exponentially.

I also predict that Bryzgalov will team up with Chris Pronger to verbally pummel Panaccio mercilessly, resulting in him switching over to covering high-school track meets.

That'd be terrible. How many kids would he ruin?

He'd have to play 66 games and average nearly 15 goals per game in 33 of those games while posting shutouts in the other 33.

I was hoping for a little more consistency?

Well, theoretically speaking, if Bryzgalov posts a 14.64 GAA in half his games and a shutout in the other half, regardless of what happens, you have a 50% chance of winning the Stanley Cup.

Yes, theoretically it's an exciting possibility. I don't think a team could survive those swings it'd be like standing on the surface of Mercury -270F on one side and 800F on the other. I'd be much happier with a 2.10 GAA with 4 shutouts.

42 wins-18 losses-6 OT/Shootout Losses
GAA- 2.37
Save%- .923
Shutouts- 7

Vezzy candidate

I think if Prongers is back and completely healthy this team will look pretty damn good infront of a top 7 goalie in the league.

And giroux breaks 90 points haha.... I know its about Bryz but Giroux shall be talked about in all threads

Honestly this makes me feel so much better:

I also love that he's somewhat of a hybrid goalie. Usually does whatever to stop the puck.

I'll guess 40-15-8, 2.29 GAA, .925 SV%, 5 SO's.

I'm hoping for the best....

Honestly, I wouldn't doubt that record at all with our defense.

Ray Whitney - Eric Belanger - Shane Doan
Lauri Korpikoski - Martin Hanzal - Radim Vrbata
Taylor Pyatt - Vernon Fiddler - Lee Stempniak
Mikkel Boedker - Kyle Turris - Paul Bissonnette

Keith Yandle - David Schlemko
Ed Jovanovski - Adrian Aucoin
Rostislav Klesla - Michal Rozsival

That is the mighty Coyote playoff roster 2011.

This is probably what our 2011-12 Season Roster looks like:

James vanRiemsdyk - Claude Giroux - Jaromir Jagr
Scott Hartnell - Daniel Briere - Jakub Voracek
Wayne Simmonds - Brayden Schenn - Andreas Nodl
Blair Betts - Maxime Talbot - Jody Shelley

Chris Pronger - Matt Carle
Kimmo Timonen - Braydon Coburn
Andrej Meszaros - Erik Gustafsson

(And we have 5.00m in cap space minus whatever we pay for Simmonds.)
