There are lots of Swedes this year as well.

Fasth, add Fogarty.

Really excited for the amount of skill that's been added to the prospect pool. We've had a lot of "safe" picks the last couple years, so this latest group is refreshing.

I went with Fasth mainly because of the potential and the wheels. I understand the Weise factor but a projected 4th liner or a 3rd at best when compared to someone who should project into the top 6 spot in a couple of years shouldn't be ranked higher.

Agreed. I mean, maybe I'm overestimating the ceilings of some of these guys, but have we ever had a triumvirate like the 3 Swedes this late in the order? Much less the Fogarty/St. Croix/McColgan picks to come somewhere in the 11-15 range? I of course understand that some will fall off over the next year or two, but the sheer number of quality mid- to high-upside guys (in my mind) is very, very exciting.

I'm just not a big Dale Weise fan. He's ready, yes, but I don't see much more than a fourth line grinder in him.

Fasth, i love how he is producing as an 18yo in a mens league. Has top 6 potential and has been showcasing his skills to us the past year.

What I love about our prospects is that we are all the way to the #9 guy and all the options on the list are most likely going to be NHL players. That is not common for most teams.

I went Kundratek. VERY solid 1st year as a pro in NA. He has top-4 potential as a defensive defenseman with good skating ability and a mean streak.

Add Fogarty.

Hagelin ahead of Vtank, Kundratek, and Fasth? Something is awry. I like the kid and all, but he's a Freddie Sjostrom carbon copy and Kundratek and Fasth have higher ceilings than than speedy 4th liners.

Vtank add Pashnin, the #1 pick in the KHL draft. Has everyone forgotten about this kid?

I don't think Fredy Sjostrom ever showed the offensive potential that Hagelin showed. The year after he was drafted, Sjostrom failed to get point per game in juniors. His game was always speed, speed and nothing but speed. Hagelin has better hands than Sjostrom ever had. He's not just a speed skater without much of anything else in his game.

In any event, this round has been called and we now voting in round 10.
