Judging by his description, he'll feel right at home at MSG:

Flaws: Must use his big body more effectively. Needs to learn how to play a smarter game in the defensive zone. Has to avoid costly errors

Was a story in a Swedish paper about him. He said that he got a last minute offer from NY to play in the camp. He said that it was a outside shoot but that he wanted to play in the NHL and that it was worth a shoot...

edit: if we sign him you won't see me here any more, but you are all welcome to attend my funeral...

Ya know there was a time when he was considered a pretty good prospect.

I remember when I was 19 too, we missed the playoffs... I remember when I was 16, missed the playoffs. When I was 23, missed the playoffs. When I was 21, missed the playoffs and lost against Belarus in the Olympiques. Who needs a good childhood anyway?

yeah and he was in a trade for Chelios... But he sucks. IMO hockey players can be soft, lazy, egoistic, slow, not interested, skilled like Dale Purinton ect. and I can still live with them. I can hate them but I can watch them play. But Anders Eriksson doesn't have controll of himself. Like a little kid who looks at a button he isn't allowed to push, he knows he can't push the button but before he have time to think it through he have pushed the putton. Eriksson plays hockey that way.

From A. Erikssons brain "Ehh I got the puck behind my own net, eehh I can't make a soft pass infront of my own net. ooopps right that was what I was not suppose to do..."

Never under-estimate Sather...With Poti, Malik, Rozival, and Eriksson he is heralding the day of the prancing, poke-checking, purse-swinging, big-boy tutu-wearing defense that will use laughter to stop the opponents..And who are we to question the ominpotent genius of Glen sather, the dynasty builder..

Ah heck this team hasn't made the playoffs since I was 18....and right now I'll be happy if they make it by the time I'm 30.

At their current rate of winning cups, I'll be 69 when they win it again.

I think the only way I could be worse as a sports fan is if i rooted for the Cubs as well.

Try being a Redskin fan as well as a Rangers fan. Talk about sport hell.

Wow, you manage to root for both my favourite and least favourite team in US sports! That said, I don't envy you as a Redskins fan.

Between the Rangers, 'Skins & 'Yanks, the U.S. budget problems can be solved.
