Feds has worn #26 and #17 in the past. If Erik Christensen is gone maybe he goes with #26. I wonder why he went with 19 over 91?

We just gotta get the Gomez stench off the number, though.

Personally, I think Sportsk is the best bang for your buck, especially considering their customization is top notch.

It sounds like you are looking at a Premier jersey. You can also try

http://www.pro-jerseys.com/rangers.php

They are also very good.

I really don't know why people are so confused about Brad wearing 19. It's what he's worn essentially his entire amateur and pro career outside of his tenure in Dallas.

Also I get the Gomez jitters but 19 is one of the most iconic numbers in the history of the sport...Sakic, Yzerman, etc.

Correct. Some GREAT centers have worn it. Besides the 2 you mentioned you can include Ratelle and Trottier.

It was his original number before going to Dallas, where #19 is retired.

So who stymied him out of #19 on Dallas?

The guys has worn #19 everywhere else.... all is right again

Dallas retired numbers : 19 Bill Masterton, C, 1967–68

obviously a North Star.... that would irk me too

Thanks for the heads-up.

He confirmed he will wear #19, so I guess Feds must've offered it up to him.

Send a message via AIM to Bird Law
I laughed when he was asked if he now hates the Islanders and he said yes.

Bill Masterton was a member of the Minnesota North Stars in 1967-68 and he died as a result of an on ice injury suffered in a game against the California Seals. He tried to split the defense and was flipped up in the air and landed on his head. He never regained consciousness. After his injury, many players immediately started wearing helmets. He is honored by the NHL with the Bill Masterton Trophy for perseverance to hockey. Prior to signing with the North Stars he had been retired for several years.

Thanks for this bit of history, now the trophy makes much more sense.
