Ummm sorry guys i disagree with you on this one.
I have heard he has gained 15+ lbs and is starting to fill out.
Im not that worried about him winning faceoffs on the third line anyway
i think he would be lucky if he sees 15 mins a game.
Besides if he is too small to take a faceoff or play defensively than isnt he to small to be the first guy into the corner for a loose puck or muckin it up along the boards?
Ideally wingers are big and strong just the same as ideally centers are big and strong.

He'll be a much better winger than he was a center at the NHL level. Once he gains the size and strength to play the wall he'll be good to go, since he won't have as much defensive responsibility.

I think it's safe to say Kadri will play the rest of his career as a forward.

He gained 10-15 lbs last year so it's likely he will put on another 10-15 lbs.

Kadri will be fine.
this. the best players are centers in junior, doesn't mean thats where they'll play forever

He's listed at 188 on the Leafs site, so around 200 would probably be his ideal playing weight. You don't want a player with his skills bulking up too much (which I'm sure the Leafs already know).

HF boards needs to remove that C next to Kadri's name under our top prospects ribbon that's on the top of the page!

Just wondering, which of our forwards can only play one position?
This is getting to be neat. Pretty much all of our players it seems like can play with each other.

I think this is along the lines of what we're expecting to see. So much for "If Nazem Kadri isn't playing on our top 2 lines then we're not bringing him up."

Depending on how things go, I can see Mac/Kadri sharing duties this year on the second line.

I dont remember seeing Grabo play anything else besides centre.. Also, we've never really seen Kulemin play centre at all.. he's a pure winger..

But you're right, it is nice seeing alot of these players being able to switch over and play different positions... I can't wait to see the chemistry that this team builds off of from last season.
