Was at that EDM game. It was like the 3rd game he played after he came back from an injury. If only he played like that for the rest of the season.

Also the originator of score from the side. Beautiful.

His short handed goal against Florida on 12/23/09 has always been one of my favorites cause I don't know how he ended up slipping it 5 hole on Vokoun. If anyone can find a youtube video of this it would be appreciated. I've only found it on NHL.com

granted this was when he was with the wild but this is what I like to see! his elusiveness is what makes him so dangerous, and defenders will be paying brich19 a ton of attention, allowing gabs to find the open space and bury any pass (ala this GWG)

from torino olympics in 06. the speed, the shot....holy ****!...plus the rangers goal horn

Snipe against LA easy, that was one of those Jagr-esque moments where he just whips his stick and its like wtf that went in?

I was 4 rows off of the ice for the Edmonton game, he slammed into the post right in front us, and we were biting our fingernails. But nevertheless, I would say one of my favorites was the goal where he dipsy dangled around the Leafs and just pushed it in against Gustavsson.

I love this whole video, thanks LoFFen.

On an unrelated not, Francois Beauchemin is an awful defenseman. Jeebus.

The LA goal. Vinny's no look pass, the way Gabby scooped it up casually right before the blueline, the way he held it for a moment before he brought it to his forehand as if he wassaying to himself "ok, dramatic pause, watch THIS." then just ripped it far side. His release is just so quick its sickening. Everything about that goal was sick.

He has such a quick release and scored some beautiful goals for us so itīs hard to choose one. I like them all

One that I like very, very much is his backhander against the piles. He came flying into the zone and rifled it top shelf with his backhand.
But look by yourself

I've been saying all along that 1 down season compared to 9 great seasons isn't the end of the world. PPG players don't lose that ability overnight. I have faith in his ability to bounce back - I just forgot exactly how good he was two years ago. Beast mode was engaged 24/7.

I don't think I've made 1 negative comment regarding Gaborik last season.

He got what 40+ goals and scored them pretty damn spread out. Very impressive, unlike his rompings of the bottom feeders last season..

I hope he is healthy this season and rips it up again.

I was at this game. Some Isles fan was drunk and talking ***** about Gabby after the goal and the guy sitting next to me, a 6'5" black dude with dreads stood up and asked for a legit reason that Gaborik sucked. Isles fan made a racial slur and the he got his ass kicked. Greatest fight I've ever seen at a game.

just on a side note...this kinda stuff bothers me. stupid fights for no reason. when i see a fight in the stands at a hockey game i just shake my head in disgust. grow up ppl.

not a shot at you Gordie...just my thoughts about this in general.
