NHL's top pure scorer

http://www.mytelus.com/sports/articl...icleID=1437549

Top sniper? gee what was your first clue??? It's seems our captain is finally, FINALLY getting some respect. Never mind out scoring everyone the last 3 or so years, never mind the Lester B as voted by the players; it seems fans around the league refuse to see Nassy as anything more than a fluke...4 or 5 years running. Well, add another title to disregard. Oh and FYI, apparently Nassy isn't worth as much as Havlat, or Anitripov or Jo Shmo! Wake up ppl and smell the accolades! hehe. Shy.

Excellent article, thanks for the link. This article reminded me of Naslund's end-to-end goal last year against Ottawa. How many players can still pull that off. Not only that, but it wasn't against just any team, it was against the President's Trophy winners. Nice.

Good stuff.

Let's hope he has another career year.

Naslund gets the respect from the players (pearson and now this), but evidently not from the fans (at least many on the HF main board). Odd.

Check out the 'heated' discussion here about this topic. I took the liberty of taking the topic to the NHL Talk board b/c I knew it would be a great topic. Thanks Shy Cheetah.
