2011-12 roadtrips?

I know there are a few people on here who take Rangers roadtrips. Anyone got any plans? I'm doing Chicago and Toronto in March. Might do Pittsburgh in February. Hopefully, the Winter Classic.

Anyone ever use a guy who goes by Blueseat Roadtrips? He is on facebook, but can't seem to find anything about him anywhere else. Prices seem good, but I have never heard of the company.

New Jersey for like 2 or 3 games.

Maybe Philadelphia.

Was thinking about Toronto/Montreal in January. This year is tough, not a whole lot of options. I wish they gave us some combination of St Louis/Detroit/Chicago/Nashville/Columbus but noooooo. Anyway, I drove to Columbus last year with some friends, we had a great time. I would recommend a trip to Columbus to anyone!

Hopefully make at least one trip to the Rock this year. Winter Classic for sure. I'd love to do Buffalo, Toronto, Boston and Washington as well. Montreal I've done already but it's a beautiful city and arena so I'd do it again, for sure.

And of course all three games in Long Island, as usual.

If I was going to do Columbus, I would want to tie it in with an Ohio St football game. I have heard it is a fun place to visit. My wife and I have done Montreal twice, would do it again, but January no good for me. Don't do anything during NFL play-offs.

I'll be in Miami from Dec 30th-Jan 6th and when the schedule came out I saw the Rangers play the Panthers in FLA on the 30th, so even though my flight doesn't get in until 7 (game's at 7:30) and I'll likely miss the first period at least, this is too great an opportunity to pass up so I'll be at that game.

Any way to move the flight up an hour or two?

I'll be trying to get to all three games in Jersey again as well as a game on the Island but I don't think I'll be doing any road trips this year. Only one I could possibly see is one up to Boston in January when I'm off from school but that's it.

My road trip unfortunately consists of going to NY to watch games at the Garden.... it's a 2+ hour trip from Hartford so that's not always easy to do.
Last year, my fiance and I drove to Raleigh on a whim and that was a great trip. We're thinking maybe Buffalo (I have friends there), Boston or Pitt or MTL/TOR if we can find decent prices on seats. Anything else would have to be very well planned out.

I'm an hour north of Chicago so I'll be @ the Blackhawks game. If my sales come in high enough this year I'll be @ the WC

I was planning on going to traverse city this summer but I dont think I'll make it now.

Where are you landing in Florida? I have been to that arena 3 times, not in Miami, and don't think it is near Miami's airport. Closest airport is probably Ft Lauderdale.

Also going to Giants-Niners in San Fran. Sharks have a home game the night before, so going to go there, as well.

If you fly into Ft. Lauderdale Airport its 12-13 miles from the Panthers arena, which is right next to a huge outlet mall. Probably 20 mins away, maybe 30 if there is traffic. If you fly into Miami International, it could take an hour or more to get up there.

I go to school in Miami, and out of the 2 times the Rangers play the Panthers I'll be 1) home for Thanksgiving and 2) home for winter break. Sucks because the tickets are like $6.

Definitely going to the WC. Very possibly going to DC on the 25th. Really eyeing the 14th/15th weekend in Jan when we visit Toronto/Montreal...very unlikely though. Maybe Boston Jan 21st.

Yep I'll be flying into Ft. Lauderdale. Got lucky because I booked the flight about 2 months ago haha. I flew down to Florida several times last year as my girlfriend was going to school there, and every time I flew down I landed about a half hour earlier than expected, so as long as there's no delay I'm hoping to land around 630-645. I'm also in the front of the plane so it won't take as long to get out. Doubt we'll have any checked luggage which should speed it up. Only problem is I'll be renting a car so that'll probably take up a good amount of time

And unfortunately I can't change the flight time without paying a $100 fee. But as you said, the tickets are so incredibly cheap that I don't care if I spend like $15 and only get to see half the game haha

Go on a Rangers road trip every year. Last year it was Columbus had a blast great area around the arena, tickets were cheap to sit a couple rows from the ice. went to a couple college bars after the game overall great time.

This year we were thinking Toronto/ Montreal? I was hoping for something maybe less expensive for tickets like Tampa Bay/ Panthers but no such luck.

Since I'm a 19 year old college student, I'm probably not going anywhere far. The only away games I'll be at is an Islander game and maybe a Devils game. I really want to go to Montreal, though.

I'm without a doubt going to the winter classic with a bunch of friends.

Other than that, I've only been to Montreal around 10 years ago and New Jersey occasionally.

Want to start going elsewhere.
