I wanted him but definitely not with a 2nd round pick. People were comparing him to Chris Neil who's not so big either but can play. Seems like Paquette's skating really turned off a lot of people.

Meh I didn't think we would get anything off of Washington. There is no chance they give us a decent player after we beat them in the playoffs and the very good chance they have of facing us again.

I like the job Gauthier has done so far, only moves I would love to see now would be ship off Spacek for nothing, sign Hannan and maybe a bottom 6 tough player. if not I am pretty happy heading into the seaso with our current lineup but Hannan would be perfect.

I like Hannan, I think he would provide a solid defensive game for any team, even if he won't contribute much on offense.

However, there are two factors with which I'm sure the organization and the fans wouldn't appreciate: 1) He's kind of a slow skater, and after Gill, the team doesn't need any more slow defensemen. 2) At 32 years old, I wouldn't be surprised if he wants term, which is why I believe the Caps gave Hammer two years instead of giving a Hannan four or possibly five years (not to mention the former also provides some offense).

A LOT of people wanted Paquette over Kristo. But most of them had never seen Kristo play(including those that wanted Kristo!). But Paquette is not devoid of value, he's a litte hell raiser and a quebecer to boot, would be pretty popular if he would have made the Habs line-up.

But he has too many things that Martin/Goat don't like.

I used to watch 110% for fun but this guys took the fun right out! I will never watch anything wen he's on....nothing. Can't stand his demeanor and his hockey annalist.
I believe the last thing I watch was a couple of years ago....there was a picture with Markov, Koivu, Beliveau and Komisarek.....By looking At the Picture , he made some stupid stuff and claimed marketing new something we didn't what a ****ing idiot

The fact he can barely be of use in the ECHL says he is.

Then just send these people a tape of a Gabriel Dumont shift and all will be forgotten.

If anywhere close to being true, I am for it as long as Price and Subban are no part of it.

I would extend that list to patches. Not that he's in the same 'untouchable' category, but i highly doubt the habs trade him after what happened last season.

If they ask for Pacioretty, you give them Pacioretty.

Value wise, yes. I agree. I just think the habs would try to work their way around that.

I would trade a PK for Stamkos no questions asked. PK is awesome but Stamkos is an elite top 5 nhl talent.

I imagine Stamkos will re-sign with Tampa before any real insanity can start.

Of course they would. But if they did, they'd probably outbid by another team.
