Congratulations to the Leafs tonight, if it weren't for Theodore, it might've been much worst. Hopefully next time we meet, Langdon will be healthy and perhaps we might get to see a Belak - Langdon or Domi - Langdon fight.
They're all playing pop crap! Another problem with Montreal clubs is it's either filled with cougars, bikers or underage kids. You can't find a club where a person in their 20s can just hang out without being harrassed by some old fart that's trying to get laid by someone a third their age or some biker standing in the corner giving you the death eye. Not to mention, you rarely see a good mix of culturally different people in clubs. Toronto has so much of a diversity which makes it so much better. Don't even get me started about emulating. Montrealers are the worst for following trends. You want proof, turn on the tv, channel after channel there are nothing but shows that emulate american tv like Star Academy.
I don't know where the hell you go out in Montreal, the the ladies where I go are usually smoking hot. You must go to Thursdays (cougers), or as we call it Whoresdays. Regardless, you are taking this too seriously. I started this as a good natured jab that plays on the stereotypical, yet somewhat based on truth(at least from my experiences trecking back and forth down the 401), notions that people have about Montreal and Toronto. I did not mean to truly offend anyone. Incidentally, I find your arguement to prove my point. I think that the fact that we have so many colourful characters like " some biker standing in the corner giving you the death eye" makes this the best town to party in. You always have the opportunity for a unexpected experience, while still being relatively safe. Also, the remark about Star Academy is true, however, I think Canadian Idol better qualifies for the "shows that emulate american tv" label. We obviously have differing opinions and I respect your right to enjoy a scene that I do not and vice-versa.
On a final, sad and more appropriate note, congrats to Leaf fans. Well deserved win vs. my Habs.
