This. Except I wouldn't say it's 70% Ranger fans. There's still more Islander fans there, but Ranger fans are definitely louder.

There are absolutely not more Islanders fans there. Maybe it's closer to 60% or so but over the last 5 years its been incredible how much we take over their building

I was at the game in December when Gaborik scored the hat trick and Biron was pulled, and I'm 100% sure there were more Islander fans there. If there are more Ranger fans there, then they aren't wearing their jerseys. But going by looking at all the people with jerseys, their's more Islander fans there. But like I said, we are definitely louder, so I could care less, since that's all that matters.

Would we be able to buy group tickets at a discounted rate?

I imagine as the Isles get their team together and move out of the basement in the standings more of their fans will appear. Maybe that won't be this year...but they are putting some decent talent together.

I'm sure they would be helpful if you sent an email. The quantity of people coming would probably greatly influence what kind of deal they gave you.

Upon further review, I may attempt to convince my fiance that the December 3rd game in Tampa Bay would be a good weekend getaway... We'll see how that goes.

I was at the Early December game at Nassau and I was saddened by the amount of empty seats for a Rangers/Isles game. There were probably 3000 empty seats and the weather was nice and it was a Thursday Night. In the 80,s tickets for a Ranger/Islander game went for more money than they do know at the Coliseum which is sad.

Hey I'm from Edmonton(I'm sure you can tell by my name lol) but I love NYC and am planning on going in March and go to a game in MSG,so I was wondering what team gets Rangers fans more fired up Devils or Penguins?

Game I went to at the Coliseum in March this year (the Isles blowout) had more Ranger fans, I would say around 65 percent. Was pretty shocked by it to be honest but I guess that's what happens when one teams in the middle of a playoff race with the other one out of it. Only Rangers - Isles game I've been to at the Coliseum.

On the flip side, I was at all 3 NYR - NJD games in Jersey and I would say the biggest Ranger fan turnout was the December game (point where the Devils basically hit rock bottom) where it was around 35-40 percent Ranger fans. The other two games had significantly more Devil fans.

Just a hint, you have to boo whenever Kovalchuk touches the puck. It's hilarious when it just goes "boooo..........Boo...boooooooooooo"

I think you are over-estimating the amount of Rangers fans. Been to a lot of those games. 50-50 at best. More often more Isles fans.
