We still need to add Stejskal by the way, I don't know why no one has voted for him.

Voting Pateryn again.

Pateryn? Really? I could see Didier's development taking him above Pateryn's arc, and I'd be tempted to put Dietz above both of them. This one's Pribyl for me.

Archambault.

Add Ramo. He's one of the best KHL goaltender. I bet he would be top 10 if he had a contract with the Habs...

I gotta say, I'm surprised to see Conboy and Pateryn taking votes from guys like Pribyl, Dumont, and Archambault.

I like Pateryn a lot.

Conboy - this is the MTL forum bro. Size and toughness matter more than anything. Remember that. Geeze.

I have Qualier above all 5 of those guys though.

Quality fourth liners can be very valuables.. See guys like Shawn Thorton, Chris Neil ect..

Archambeault reminds me of Corey Locke while Pybril, a 168th overall pick in the last draft, remains a project at this point..

Dumont I could see him make the team in the next years, I like his speed and grit alot, reminds me of a faster Maxime Talbot..

I'm voting Conboy only because I believe he's the only sure shot to be an NHLer in the pool left. After that, I'm going on upside.

Conboy, add Schultz.

Surprised Schultz not there yet, not sure what people see in Stejskal, AHLer at best.

I think you got these two names in the wrong order. Not only might Schultz represent the lowest upside of anyone if he was on the list right now, he might also be about as far from NHL ready as any of them.

There's "valuable" and then there's "top prospect"... that's what I'm saying. I understand that NHL readiness has to be factored in, but I guess I don't understand weighing it so heavily that a "top prospect" list turns into a simple timeline of when people expect these guys to crack the NHL. And if a timeline is what we're creating here, at what point does a prospect's age start working against him in something like this. I mean, if a guy is 23/24, he should obviously be "closer" to making the NHL than someone who is 20. If these two guys are both expected to fill a similar role at the major league level, but the 20 year old looks like he won't take as long as the 23/24 year old has, should he not be rated higher, for example?
