The votes were like 20-19-19-17.. So when it's that close we go to a tie-breaker so that the one's who didn't vote for any of the 4 can have an impact. Voted Pateryn as well.

Pateryn's also one of his teams leaders, and he's going to be an assistant captain next year. He's already been paired with Mac Bennet too.

Pateryn has scored 4 goals in his 100 NCAA games. Exactly how much of a potential impact do you see him having at the NHL level? Are you really faulting people for ranking a potential top 9 offensive forward above a potential 6th/7th stay at home defenseman?

I voted Dumont. He had a really good playoffs in hamilton and his play is that of a Talbot type. He could be usefull in 2 years time
