Who says Perry Pearn hasn't done a good job? That ragtag bunch of cripples the Habs threw in to replace their injured regulars di bettwe than expected.
Imagine Larry teaching PK what he knows, that would be insane
Big Birds last year here he was paired with Eric Desjardins and it was great for Desjardins. Not just PK of course but also Weber, Emelin, and everybody else, maybe even Markov.
The top of this year’s free agents class have all signed contracts. Some with their old team and many under a new sky. This being said, there are still a bunch of players without contract. Players that could surely still help some teams. Here is the list of 10 best forward and defense still available, with the teams that they are linked to according to my sources:
Top 10 UFA forwards (excluding Selanne who will either retire or resign with the Ducks)
It stems from the Rags board and their character assassination towards Pearn. The whole board came into a consensus that he was responsible for their inept PP. He was their scapegoat. Some Habs fans caught on and thus it still exists in some corners of the universe.
I have nothing but good things to say about Pearn. Our whole coaching staff has done great things considering our inability to stay healthy.

I love the way you described our "ragtag bunch of cripples".
I have no issues with Pearn, like Overlords mentioned, you really can't complain about our PK.
Larry's still with the Devils and I think he's happier there (sadly).
Happier? I dunno. But more relaxed? Definitely. I remember reading that he has a heart condition or something and that it was a factor in him not keeping a job in the montreal organization.
I'm just suggesting that Robinson is a better defensive coach than Pearn but I think our problems of getting the puck out of the defensive end are because of our strategy. Our PK is good though.
I think you can thank mr. Gill for PKs progression.
Wow, where does this crap come from? You know who you can thank for PK's progression, himself. It would take a special kind of idiot to mess that guy up.

Subban pretty much said so himself. You'd have to be living in a cave to not see how much Gill helped him out over the last year.

Subban would have been good regardless, but the fact that he was able to be so good, so quickly has a lot to do with his playing with Gill. He was able to pinch and not worry too much about getting out of position since Gill would be able to cover any mistakes that were made.
