He was brutal, I listened to him for like a half hour one morning and wanted to blow my brains out.
thats how i felt the first time I heard him but I actually started to like him in the 1-4pm time slot.
I think the person that should be moving on is Don Kollins, nothing that guy has done has been a positive change.
Its a good thing TSN Radio has been horrible, or else the fan would have been in big trouble.
Call me crazy but could we have at least 1 Maple Leafs fan host a radio show in this city. I listen to 550 Buffalo sometimes and I love hearing the passion their radio hosts have for the Sabres. Why cant we have one radio show where the hosts are actuallys fans of the team. Im sick of the negativity that guys like brady and McCowan have. And I am not talking "Fans" as in they worked for the team... I mean fans as in actual people who follow the team.

Steve Kouleas is a giant Leafs fans. He has a show on TSN radio during the noon hour. But I believe it's on hiatus during the NHL off season.
Don Kollins has ruined the FAN 590, if I were him I would go back to it's roots and get as many old fan alumni back into the rotation. TSN radio doesn't look to be going anywhere, wonder how long this format can continue.

He said that? I actually was happy when TSN 1050 went live. It gave another option ofther than the Fan590.
huh? Kouleas? If he is, he covers it up awfully well.
I doubt there is a bigger Leafs fan on Toronto radio than Kouleas. If you bothered to listen to him at all over the years it should be painfully obvious.

I remember that show. No doubt that he was saying that stuff to get the phone calls coming in, but I agreed with him. I think the point he was trying to make was he wanted the Leafs to be a pseudo-contender like the Habs have been the last few years. What's wrong with wanting your team to play meaningful games for a change? I guess any criticism of the Leafs is trolling now.
