I'd be surprised if it's a two way contract...I think White has earned a 1 way contract.

Hell, they gave Pyatt a 1 way last year

I agree with Nittany, White can play the whole year on the 4th line with Moen and some one else who can win some face offs.

I wish to see him 1 year, 1 way at a pretty low cap hit. And if he manages to stay with the team and get a good season, then he can try to get more next year.

Very happy to see him officially signed, I love what he brings to this team.

I think a one year deal is enough to keep him hungry.

Glad he's back!

525K/1yr (1way) is my guess.

I'd hope for a 2way deal.

I expect a big year from Ryan. I think he has proven he belongs and I hope they rewarded him with a 1-way deal. I think this guy has the makings of a great 3rd liner who will be a force in the playoffs. Also want to see him re-united with Trotter and Desharnais, what a line they were for a while.

I like some of the trends lately in 2-year deals with the first year 2-way, and the second year 1-way, as a means of perhaps scaring off teams from making a waiver claim on a borderline guy. So far White is basically on the team, so it matters little whether his deal is 1-way or 2-way. But if we could sign a couple more experienced forwards, his spot could be jeopardized somewhat... in which case having him either on a 1-way deal or the scare-factor 2-year deal would have been nice. From the fan perspective (no idea how much the real money matters to the organization in relation).

I'll guess 1-year 2-way... it just doesn't seem to me like he has played enough for the Habs to get the 1-way deal yet, and if they were going to give him that the signing would have happened sooner... ?

So with 12 forwards signed. Who will be our 13th? I expect to return to 100 pages of speculation.

I would expect it to be a battle between Trotter, Engqvist, Palushaj and Blunden.

Two will make the team out of camp due to Eller's injury. Although only one may make it if we sign another UFA which is quite possible.

Could very well be White. He played center in the Dub and on and off in the AHL. Also took quite a few faceoffs in the playoffs.
