You bought a Desharnais jersey? That's riskier than when I bought my Higgins jersey which has now been in the closet for years.
Desharnais is my favourite player. He was before he ever played a game with Montreal.

Talking about him switching his number is fine, but when it became a debate of Gomez -vs- Koivu, that's when it strayed off course.

My only wish is that our new #51 is much bigger and tougher to play against. DD has done a fabulous job of earning his keep, too bad it is on the bottom lines on a team that needs a big meathead as opposed to an undersized playmaker.
I have been a fan of his since his first ATO. I still am. However, he just does not align with the Habs needs long term on their bottom two lines, and is not likely anywhere good enough to even think about ice time on any NHL team's top two lines.
So, glad to welcome him into the full time NHL fold. I am also hoping that others eventually fill that role with the Habs, as there is still something missing on the bottom two lines that will help this team battle long and hard in the offseason...when the games and rules change from above.
Just bought his ****ing jersey with 58 on it. ****.
on the contrary. 58 is now more OG cause he only wore it one season. and it shows you were a big enough fan of his to get the jersey before he went on to have many awesome seasons for the habs. (or at least a big enough fan to get his old number.)
My opinion, 51 is an awful number.. for a forward, worst than 58.. but i guess if he likes it, good for him.. as for number 15 i doubt its palushaj.. since he has less seniority in the organisation, halpern? I hope not, or the oranisation is dumb... so it "must" be Cole...
But we'll see... i think number 15 would have been cool for him.. but thaz life.
