what is very ipressive is his plus - very good every year.
big kid who i hope makes it with the big team
not a full goon pims were up last year as no one else stepped up so he did. very useable d-man with a good right hand when needed
From what I understand Rullier got a one way contract. That being said--not too many of us know a lot about him other than the statistics we've seen. Also how he would fit onto the big team is a question when no one here has any idea who would fit best with who. This is mainly because the personnel that we're working with are new to the team or have shown little cohesion with each other in the past. Size and toughness is something lacking--so if Joe is a decent skater with kind of an idea of how to play his position I would think he would have a very good chance.
he'll most likely be 1 of the 3 healthy scratches on most nights, maybe inserted as a 7th dman on nights that extra toughness is needed...of course that is assuming that he beats out purinton, strudwick and grenier for that job. if he ends up 4th on that list then he'll be in hartford as an enforcer down there
I agree that he will be a healthy scratch on most nights. Will get some action against the tougher teams, and he has a good + rating for games played if that means much. Will be interesting to see how Renney uses him this season with all the other questionable D men he has to choose from.
Anybody that went to camp can tell me how did he looked
Apart from the Ranger beatwriter's and whatever they want to write about there
hasn't been a lot of information as camp has been closed to the public. They haven't said much about him. He had a fight with Martin Grenier. Blueshirt Bulletin has been updating articles pretty much everyday and usually touches on several different players. You can do a search on that site or go into this forum on the topic of day 3 or day 4 and pick up the http.
