Does hockeybuzz and HF boards have some sort of mutual agreement. How is Eklund and Co. considered real sources while I see other threads being closed because they are not classified as real sources. How many BS rumours do you need to post before HF Boards gives you your own prefix to a thread
IMO trade Kadri. He hasnt shown anything and has a loud mouth when it comes to locker room and organization. Turris is what the Leafs are desperate for a young center with some playoff experience after the Detroit series.
His stories of first round exists will clearly captivate the team.
I dont really know why everyone is thinking Turris is miles better than Kadri both had identical ahl numbers (kadri's a bit better) and outside of 3 points in 4 games in the playoffs by Turris both has pretty much accomplished the same thing in the nhl despite Turris being 2 years older. People are so quick to jump on bandwagons let the kid prove that he can sustain his success in the playoffs for more than 4 measly games first.

It's hockeybuzz, they're likely just making ***** up for hits. Burke is very close to the chest with his trades, all of his deals while GM of the Leafs have come basically out of nowhere, rumors involving the Leafs are virtually guaranteed to be BS, especially from sites like hockeybuzz.
The guy thinks Blake Wheeler was traded. He has absolutely no idea what the hell he's talking about. Phoenix is the weakest team in the league at center, both on the roster and in the pipeline, and we make a lateral trade using one of our only 2 centers capable of putting up more than 30 points for a player being groomed as a winger?
Turris is small and weak and doesn't scare anyone offensively. Keep him by all means necessary.
I have watched both play, while Kadri was given minutes, tried out with Kessel, PP Time he could produce minimally.
Turris is not small, weak and fragile, he's a big body, he was often given 4th line minutes because Dave Tippet relys on vets, we played a secure defensive system and Turris wasn't that great defensively. In the playoffs ( you know what those are right? ) he was given 1st line minutes and showed signs of brilliance so we'll keep Turris you keep Kadri.
Btw, Hockeybuzz is bs looking for leaf hits for $$.
He wasn't that impressive in the AHL, had decent numbers but in no way dominated. Sorry its just my opinion. When Kadri was drafted, it was suggested he'd be a top line forward & a cornerstone in the Leafs Organization. After a few seasons now, he looks as if he's destined to be more of a complimentary player. And in my opinion he's got 3rd line energy guy written all over him. It's not meant as a slight, a skilled 3rd line energy winger is a must on every team. Like I said, perhaps he develops his game & becomes a fixture on the Leafs 2nd line someday. I just dont see Kadri as a perennial All-Star.
Not an expert on Kadri - but I really can't see how you could conclude that a 20 YO kid wasn't giong to be able make the transition to be a scoring line player at the NHL level. IMO - Kadri's right on track to be a scoring line NHL'er, and not sure why (beyond the BOS/TOR rivalry) would write him off as an energy guy at this point.
