Just read on the Globe that Ted played all his 49 games with the Rangers last year as the center with Sandy?

Anyone aware of any known chemistry / background behind this? Sounds a bit wierd that if Ted couldn't cut it with him last year that he is back at it again this year (even if he is pulling his weight this year as per reports)

Donato and McCarthy are both fourth line players who played for the Rangers so it doesn't surprise me.

With McCarthy, the Bs finally have a multi-skilled enforcer: a nice UFA pick-up by MOC.

With Donato, the Bs picked up a cost-effective, hustling utility guy. It also didn't hurt that he's a local guy and a known quantity.
