I'd offer a 2nd just so he stops owning the Canucks.

You do realize Glencross alone would net a 1st right? Omark wouldn't play in the NHL for 20 teams. Glencross plays top 9 for anyone in the league.

Tim "hidden gem" Jackman isn't for sale.
From a Flames perspective, the guy shouldn't be moved for less than a mid-second, and I doubt another team should give up a second for him.
He stays put, and puts up career numbers next year, IMO.

What a dumb thread. Where on earth do you see Jackman even fitting into the Oilers lineup?

Agreed. I think what ever you trade him for your better just re-signing him cause what ever pick you get probably wont pan out to be what he brings to the table night after night.

Where would he fit. Hmmm maybe were I said 3rd or 4th line rw. Looking at Edm depth we're going to have lw's playing on rw on are bottom two lines. There's definately I lack of rw's on the depth chart. I know it's not that big of deal, and gagner could possibly move to rw if rnh makes the team. Jackman would fit in great on a line with jones or eager. Omark is great, but he's kind of a tweener. Not good enough to play in the top six, and not good enough defensively to play in the bottom six. I'm sure we could find a way to get jackman in the lineup. He's also a great pk guy...I'm sure edm could use a few more of those.

He is certainly a player you win with, as he allows you to role four lines without hesitation as he produces on both ends of the rink.

He is what every team looks for when looking to add to their bottom six, and plays his role to a T.
Didn't you know that at 30 players should retire? Iginla is already way too old for this league.

I'm hoping the Flames re-sign Jackman and the end of the year.

Best 4th liner in the league, could have just been a fluke season we'll see.

Doubtful it's a fluke season. Guy is a hard worker. It's not his goals but his work ethic and determination that make him a valuable piece of a good team.
