Hi Guys,

Translate via google
It's an interview with Lars Eller, he is home in Denmark atm, and he is in the gym EVERYDAY!
His Injury is OK, and his operation went well. He will be ready for the season opener.
Also he has put on muscle weight
He is now 202.4 pounds. Just a little FYI to the Montreal fans

wow, fantastic news. I knew the people saying he'd only be available a few months in were overreacting. I'm not surprised about him being available for the opener, but very happy about the weight gainage. This kid is my favorite.
Edit: I think you got your link wrong.

I think this is the link OP wanted to post:
http://translate.google.ca/translate...de-vej-tilbage
Also says he's been having problems with that shoulder for few years and that he would have needed surgery sooner or later (at least that's my interpretation of it).

He was listed at 198 last year. Still, any increase is good.

Didn't realize that. Like you said though, any increase is good. Especially when it's near 5 pounds of muscle.

What a stud. Very intelligent player with high upside. I'm expecting great things from him this year.

That's one of the possibilities I think (I like it too) but it all depends on whether they want to play two natural centres (DD and Eller) on the same line, then have Moen / White / Darche / Engqvist / UFA C on the 4th line.

If he plays the way he did at the end of the season...I'd say he can put up 25-35 points which is reasonable for a center his age and given the position he'll be put it.
I still think Eller can turn into a shutdown center man who can in his prime put up 45-55 points a year

i love that the habs have a roster-full of players like that: hard-working, two-way players, defensively responsible players; guys that want to win.
you could almost say that PG is planning it that way
