Out of curiosity how would one even make a jersey? How would you get the numbers and letters? Secondly, are any of them for sale?

I can see why. All those jerseys are absolute steals. I don't think I've seen one of those authentic Carter jerseys and after seeing a million fakes on the Internet, I didn't think they existed lol.

Any Skate Zone can properly do the Flyers new unis for you. As for the name/numbers, known as kits, you can do eBay or go to an official place like exclusivepro.com. The latter will sew them on for you, as well as the Skate Zone's, but chances are any mildly skilled athletic lettering place can apply them for you as well.

You're fine. The Flyers had a Bernie Parent, but they didn't have a Bernieparent.

From when it gets cold to when it gets hot I mostly work and when I'm not working I'm usually at skate zone or at a flyers game so I don't stand out too much

I wear mine to law school a lot, definitely stick out like a sore thumb there lol. And of course to games, Flyers events, if I'm going to watch a game, crap like that.

My old job allowed me to wear jerseys, so every game day, or if I was running out of clean shirts.

Whatever my next job is, probably won't be as able, so I would be limited to games and such.

Yeah 90% of the time when I go out when it's cold it's in some way shape or form related to hockey so I'm always rocking my jerseys with pride

I try to go to every Flyers game possible so I wear the Flyers ones to the games or training camp. Of my non flyers jerseys which I have many, I wear them in place of a jacket when it is brisk, I play a lot of Ice and Roller and usually wear them to play in as well.

I wear mine most in spring or fall. They're great because they're not too heavy.

I wear it pretty much only on game days. Sometimes I will wear them on random days, but if they aren't playing that day, I normally won't wear one. I wear my Renberg jersey pretty much whenever I play though.

Looking for some advice here... I'm going to buy a cheap Richards/Carter for like 20$ then get the numbers/name changed...

Does anyone have any advice? Places to do this etc? Would the jersey look as if it was new from the store?

If you go from a Carter to Simmonds, then yeah you should be fine, the Simmonds name plate will be longer and cover up any stitch marks from the Carter plate.

If you are talking about changing numbers, then that might be a different story, the 8 from Richards might be tough to cover, however, if you go to a larger 2 digit number, then the centers will be different, so all bets are off...

Switch the 8 with a 0 and make it a Schenn, should look pretty good.

Please tell me the authentics for $10.00 were Edge 1.0s and not 2.0s. I would have gladly bought some 56+'s to cut up for name tags.

Man, I wish I would have known of this sale sooner.

It sounds like you guys got some great steals, congrats!

Do you mean nameplates? I'm confused.

Luck o' the Irish?

Don't know about the BOS because didn't attend. My cousin picked up a road white 2.0 blank size 54 from the rack in Voorhees Skate Zone. It still had the cardboard barcode merch hang tag on it through the sleeve. He's Irish, so it figures he'd be lucky.

When and how much?

Also, am I the only one who can't stand the 2.0's? I freakin love the 1's, they're warmer and more form fitting.
