That was about a month ago. Last week, Barb Underhill was working with TB's prospects at their camp, so Mats probably went home for a bit and will return later in the summer to start working out in NY again.
as for Zucc's... it kinda makes sense. I just dont see him having a roll on this team. Its like its the Rangers and Zuccarello.
If we traded him, I wouldnt shed a tear. Can he be a good player in this league. I think time will tell. I think he can, but I just dont see it with the Rangers.
Now the return we can get? I imagine a second round pick in next years draft. The Rangers Brass LOOOVE their Second Round Picks (and rightfully so!) and next year is supposed to be a really deep draft so a second rounder in that draft could be like a first round pick in lesser drafts.
Do I absolutely want Mats gone? No. Not at all. I just really dont see him identifying with the Rangers. Every other player I see as a Ranger. But him.. for some odd reason I just dont identify with him

Yeah... I was not a big fan of the concept of "twitter" but at some point, in my endless pursuit of Rangers related information, I got tired of waiting for other posters to post the information breaking via twitter updates and decided to just sign up so I could get the information myself off my phone using the twitter app... Particularly useful around the trade deadline, draft day, and of course July 1st free agency period... I don't "tweet" other users, just read the updates, particularly of the Rangers beat writers and TSN guys.

Seriously doubt Zuccarello worth a 2nd rounder in the eyes of another team. He just hasn't shown enough at the NHL level.
