Will JT Miller be eligible? There were rumors about where he'd be playing and I was under the impression college kids couldn't participate unless they paid their own way? Anyone have clarification?

Awesome for two reasons.
1. I get to watch our prospects.
2. I get to watch some sort of hockey earlier.

You're right, college players have to pay their own way. Miller, however, decided to play OHL hockey, so he can go on the Rangers' dime. He should be there.

If he was going to school he wouldn't be able to go anyways because he would miss class. Moot point now though

I would have thought they would just stream it from some Michigan network.

Thanks for the info, I had remembered hereing ND, then some OHL rumors, but I didn't know he had made the choice.

Do we know what team he'll play for?

I was thinking that they'll probably want footage/interviews for preseason coverage. Since the big team will be abroad they won't have as much access.

Great job MSG...Lots of people here including myself were up in arms that this wasen't shown last season. Good to see MSG step up to the plate here.

I don't think Fasth and Lindberg will be there, the SEL season starts on September 15.

It wasn't on last year because it wasn't worth it from a cost perspective for NHL network to air it. There are only 8 NHL teams represented and most fans outside of HF probably don't even know the tournament exists.

Please, it's on my phone, which auto-populates to my google calendar, to my email client - I got it everywhere. Can't wait.

Just wish FiOS would get MSGHD in time...

One line I'd really like to see:

Yogan - Fogarty - Thomas

Just screams "domination" to me. Though I'm not sure about Fogarty's eligibility for TC.
