Less excited about most of these guys even, so I'll go with a goalie.
Grubauer. Add Burke.

Between goalie and McNeil for me. Chose goalie.
Im of the opinion that if kooger had a shot we would have seen some instance of brilliance.

People voting for Kugryshev.
I would vote for everyone on the list except Bouchard over him, I think.

God forbid people vote for the most talented forward left in the fold.
Shocking that the guy didn't put up big numbers in 4th line minute in Hershey, I know.

He put up pretty crappy numbers in the QMJHL too. There's a reason he was getting fourth-line minutes on that team.

I'm not much a fan of the player but that just isn't true. He was well over a point-per-game both seasons for Quebec.
Give me hockey sense and drive over talent any day. I don't see much NHL potential in him unless he displays more of the former, as the later isn't elite enough to withstand inconsistencies. Until he clues into that reality, he won't begin to climb the depth chart.

McNeill, the somewhat forgotten 24-year-old blueline prospect.
Add Mitchell.

Funny how in a matter of 2 years, Francois Bouchard more or less became irrelevant on that list of prospects.

Well a drastic falloff in your 3rd year of pro hockey after IMO very steady progress overall will do that...
I don't follow Hershey well enough to know what exactly happened, though it does appear he was 3rd on the RW depth chart there last year so likely not a lot of PP time, but going into last year I had hopes that he would at least approach the point a game mark over the course of the season but instead he kind of fell off the map.

I voted Soberg because he's never had a goalie coach at any level and has learned to play the position by studying NHL goaltenders. That's the definition desire and raw skill. I want to see what 2 years of Olie and Prior teaching him will do.

Reason: clarifying that I already "voted"
