One thought I had when watching it was how often AK was doing something good in the process of generating the scoring chance. He and Pleks are a good combination a lot of the time.

Nice work.
We should create a sticky thread to gather all hab fans made videos. There's some pretty nice work done here.

Your video got trolled by that fan in Vancouver. nice work.

Love AK, idc what the haters say!!!

Perhaps Ryan White would complete the line of AK and Eller, I believe he has a little bit of untapped skill and doesnt stop working.

Really wish we keep this guy, after his present contract expires.
He is big and hits, and has a nice scoring touch.
The fact that we drafted him, and he grew into the org is a plus in my book also.
He is our scoring depth, and can definately play top 6 if needed.

Good video.

One of my favourite player and perhaps the best offensive forward on this team. If used wisely in order to give him confidence, this guy could surprise a lot of people and the constant bashing would stop. Also, if he had all the lattitude Gomez had last season, he would probably finish near 70 pts.

Nice Video,

AKos is a .5 per game player. He has a scoring flare with a good physical game all for good value. Will he be resgned? Depends, Cole is similar in ppg and other aspects. Akos will ask for more $. PG will have a interesting descision to make.

The Video Should Reflect The Player

The Video should only work after the fifth or sixth click, just like when Kostitsyn shows up every fifth or sixth game.

When he has another gear besides "gliding", shows some sense of urgency in EVERY game he plays and can actually have recieve a pass on his stick, THEN I'll become a fan.

Right now AK = Kovy 2.0

best offensive forward, 70 points... I am die hard Habs fan, but I had to laugh at this one.

Over a 82 game schedule, Patches will have more points than AK.

He's a good bottom 9 player, not top 6.

I wish I was wrong, but all you have to do is look at his body of work...and it's not just the stats.

Maybe he means skill-wise. Because skills... well, him and Cammy are the most skilled guys. Cammy probably wins that one too.

Two things :

1- He's averaging 15 minutes per game. Give him the extra 5 minutes other forwards have, which is 33% more icetime and do your own maths. 45 points become 60.

2- Give him all the chances to perform with the best players, on ES and PP, and his stats will prove you wrong. And doing so, don't scratch or bench him after every little mistake he does. He finished the season at +3, not -15, so what is he doing so wrong that every time he does a simple mistake, he gets benched or put on the 3rd/4th line. I don't get it. Some players play like garbage but get all the opportunities to rebound, but some others don't.

We all know he's better than his brother who got 52 (?) pts last season. I can't wait to see all the haters whinning about AK when he'll put up 35 goals-30 assists with another team.

nyhabsfan should stay out of every AK "appreciation" thread. He just can't admit AK is a valuable player for us. He just want to ruin every AK thread.

If he didn't get injured in 09-10, he would have probably scored 20 goals again. Actually before getting injured he was one of our hottest player with 20 pts in 18 games. He broke his ankle and missed two months and had to start all over again. But of course, when MaxPac or Gomez gets a good 20 games streak, they are so good but when its AK, its just luck and nobody remembers it.

If he stayed healthy that season, he would have got his 4th straight 20 goals this season. Not that bad for a 3M$ guy.

Can he scored 30 goals with more consistency. Of course he can, he just didn't reach that point yet. But I'm just tired of hearing people say he can be a 40 goals scorer if he wants too.

Can Cammy be a 50 goals scorer? Yes he can. Will he ever.. i doubt so.
Can GIonta scored 40 goals next season? Will he? I don't think so.
Can Crosby get 160 pts a a season? Probably. Will he? Guess not..

Etc etc... My point is a player can't stay at the highest point of intensity of play throughout a 82 games season. There's always ups and downs in a season. Yes the best player are better than AK because they are way more consistent.

IF you watch last season, AK is not a lazy player, far from it. He does not float on the ice. He backchecks. His problem is inconsistency AND when he's off, he is really off. Takes bad decision, loses the puck, loses his footing at the worst time etc.. but it doesn't have anything to do with being lazy or taking shift off.
