And he led Habs in hits last season and was second season before.
Montreal is a soft team, though.
I like AK's game, but I'm not convinced he solves the problem for us. It would be nice if we could get him for something like a second round pick and he proved me wrong.
Translation from Russian and Belarusian are different. For example his first name on Russian: "Сергей" - "Sergei"; on Belarusian: "Сяргей", not much different, but because of the letters sounds it turns into - "Siarhej"
Belarus is bilingual country( two official languages) so we have it in two languages in our passports.
I was aware that your country was bilingual. My former assistant (biggest Federov fan EVER) was from Belarus. So how would Sergei's surname be spelled in Belarusian and what would that correspond to in English letters?
You forgot the word 'streaky', the quintessential term for describing AK.
He is no more or less streaky than erat...
I would be more than happy to add him to the team. You have to remember he plays for Montreal and is under so much pressure/scrutiny that he is going to be in the spotlight 24/7. I truly believe he would be a great fit in Nashville.
I'm hoping the Brothers re-unite. Smashville can use some more firepower. Not to mention the chemistry they had (more so on the powerplay than even strength) back when Carbonneau was coaching

most goal scorers are streaky, with that said, I'd take him on our team for the right price. Hes a pretty solid all around player with that special scoring touch.

AK-Fisher-Hornqvist
If AK has the same defensive awareness that his brother has then that would be a tough line to play against night-in and night-out. Fisher has some pretty good two-way ability and physicality. AK has (maybe) some good two-way ability and physicality. Hornqvist never stops, and isn't afraid to throw a hit. I like during the play offs when an Anaheim fan warned a Vancouver fan about Hornqvist. "He's like Holmstrom with balls"
Let's be honest here...how many of you who are pining for AK are thinking the K brothers are going to have the same kind of chemistry and put up the same kind of numbers as the two sisters in riotcouver?

Exactly my thoughts putting this line together. They could be dangerous in the offensive zone while holding their own while playing D.
Man, Im just ready for Poile to add this top-6 player (if he does this season) we're all hoping for..... I cant take too much more of this waiting ****

Not me, I would hope they didnt play together to be honest. I just think AK could step up andfill a big hole thats in our roster right now. I could care less if they were in action together, maybe on the PP or even PK thatd be pretty sick. See my suggestion of a AK-Fisher-Hornqvist line above, that could be a very solid line all around, all while leaving SK on another scoring line.

Something like...
A. Kostitsyn - Fisher - Hornqvist
Erat - Legwand - S. Kostitsyn
Spaling - Smithson - Tootoo
Wilson - O'Reilly - Bergfors

Exactly, these are not the Sutter brothers we're talking about here.
