Well that's just upsetting to hear.

Way to ruin the thread before it even got into swing Steve.

Doc used to be great but he has become extremely redundant. As someone else mentioned he says "knifed" just about every play.

Man I miss JD.

I miss JD too. Him and Sam were the best PBP team I have ever heard

The odd thing is that I made that a while ago and I forgot why, but that gave me a good reason to use it.

And yeah, Sam and JD imo were the best. Sam is still great even though he messes up names every once in a while, but he's still my favorite.

Way too many references to tools in Doc's broadcast: shovels, pitchforks, Chico... Good riddance.

You also forgot waffleboards.

Also it's not good riddance, he's still doing national broadcasts.

I feel bad for Sam sometimes because Mich is hard headed lol. How many times have we heard them have minor disagreements the last couple of years.

Reading the article makes it seem even worse.

Quote:
Aaron Boogaard, a Canadian national from Regina, Saskatchewan, is being held at the Hennepin County jail on the drug arrest and on a federal immigration hold, according to the jail's website. The police record listing Aaron Boogaard's arrest says that the date and time of his alleged crime is May 13, the same day that family members found Derek Boogaard, 28, dead in his Warehouse District apartment. The incident was listed as "dead on arrival."

there is no evidence that the pills Derek took were given to him by Aaron. I do not think that will happen

Did they imply that he was at fault for that? I didn't get that from the article but it's possible. Horrible for the Boogaard family.

Also to bring it back to NHL talk, apparently Jim Cerny did a live chat and said we're definitely not resigning Vinny P, is that true?

did not hear the interview, but I could believe it if it was said. I myself hope we resign him. You can never have too much depth

Well yeah it's still up in the air right now, but I have been hoping we throw him a cheap deal after we get Cally taken care of.

I have been saying since the season ended that if we were going to resign him, we would wait to make sure we had all of our RFAs signed first
