Just for fun, what players would you want here (not including superstars like Weber or Stamkos types) and what do you think we would have to trade for them (and draft picks coming back if you need to even out a trade).
Ill say Carle, Wellwood, and a 1st for Jack Johnson.

Lol just a little. I would trade a 6 pack for Richards and the piece of plexiglass Carter hit the most last season for him.

I mentioned Oleksiak with my friends before because he's a big dman and he's good and I think Dallas could use Bob since Lehtonen gets hurt often, but they wouldn't want Carle so I'm wondering who else to include for him.

I would love Bobby Ryan but his value to the Ducks is probably way too high.

Brown and Burns would be my favorites on that list but I wouldn't mind Kesler or Morrow either.

Shelley and Nodl to Washington for Knuble...
Flyers get the net crashing power forward for the PP that has been needed since... well, since he left... and a top six two-way player.
Caps get a young hard working player who can play a defensive game and has good albeit latent offensive abilities that has yet to be tapped... and have control of him for at least a couple years after Knuble's contract would have ended for them... and get a heavyweight enforcer who has leadership qualities for their room and can play on the fourth line in limited use and be effective.
Cost pretty much evens out on either side.
... A no brainer for the Flyers... The Caps however would have to have their heads examined if they would even consider it.

Miko Koivu: always thought he would have been a better offensive player if he played on a better team.
TJ Oshie: Always liked him and his two way play. Plays the game hard.
Luke Schenn: Other than being a pretty solid defender, would like to have brothers on the team.

cant argue with you there...
I'd love Luke Schenn as well, im always in favor of brothers on the same team...and him being a young highly touted dman is EXACTLY what we all want.
But i fear for the price. If toronto fans are ANY indication of his perceived value we may never even get a shot at him
