Love it being that Pacioretty has only good things to say about Cunneyworth

Don't think so. Pearn and Muller were the assistants.

The question now is who coaches Hamilton?
EDIT: Just saw the announcement..

I'm alright with this. I'm assuming RL will coach from the press box.

He is also an ex D so it bring something we hadn't in the last years to help our youngs defensemans.

For those that don't know Clement Joidin..he was a former Habs assistant and head coach of Rimouski for the past few years.

Looks like 2 solid moves by Gauthier:
The Randy's had very good success in HAM both in record and with developing players (and we have many young playere likely to be on the Habs '11-12 roster).
While Jodoin is a consummate pro with tremendous player dev and NHL coaching/admin experience, and has certainly earned a promotion to coach in the AHL level...

Also, we can't get hung up on losing Boucher and Muller (I love Kirk-is-work too, but have to admit I have no idea if he could succeed as an NHL head coach - e.g. remember what happened to NJDevils' John MacLean?). Unlike players, coaches will move around for career advancement, and no organization (e.g. Habs) ever stands in the way of a promotion to another org.

We must not lose sight that, like his style or not, JMartin is a proven winner, and these new guys in MTL and HAM will be his soldiers, executing on his plan.

I like the fact that he wins regular season games, but he is not a proven playoff winner as the Sens choked under his command in the SCFinals.

No1 can make the Sens win lol

Also, I found another connection in the team. Randy Ladouceur was assistant coach for the Canes from 97 to 2005. Maybe him and Cole are great buddies and they take a beer once in a while?

We can point and laugh at our division rivals (who doesn't), but in reality when you're THIS close to the Cup, you have to have your team firing on all cylinders and on the same wave.

Habs seems to be on the same wave since Martin was hired.

I'm not his biggest fan, but I gotta admit, he delivers.

Pretty sure Patrick Lalime had something to say about that.

No doubt but much like Vigneault and Luongo's situation, Martin had to make sure all his players are in the correct frame of mind. The leaders in the room have a role as well, but the bench boss is the one that should lead them into battle, so to speak. Martin just isn't like that whatsoever.

The 2010 playoff run was wild and fun. It was probably one of my favorite Habs memories watching our team beating the "2 best" teams in the East, but I'm not gonna sit here and call Martin a winner, because he hasn't won anything.

Muller could never be the head coach of the Habs (you know why). Hamilton is pretty much a dead end job for him.

Pacioretty spoke very highly of Cunneyworth, if that means anything.

I guess two Randy's are better than one... Shows Kirk will be hard to replace & for the Yahoo! calling Muller overrated, get a job! The guy was also a Captain for the Habs & it seems it will take 2 guys to replace him..."Kirk is Work!"

I'd like to know their roles because their is not one who really sees the came from an offensive viewpoint.

That said, I still like the move for the younger players on our team.

HF boards answer ala Jeopardy

Who is Patrick Lalime?

Alex says correct.

That is the reason the Sens did not win the cup.

Jackie: Black & Gold for 600$ plz
Alex: Answer.. Daily Double! You have 800$, gonna risk that?
Jackie: Yeh Mister Trebek
Alex: This 6'9'' 255lbs creature patrols the Adirondack at night. Often misinterpreted with a werewolf or Big Foot due to the same hairiness and primitive gestures it has been associated with reported cases of broken necks. Warning! when seen on icy surfaces, it becomes out of control and extremely violent.
Jackie: Whats a bear?
Alex: Ah, I'm sorry Jackie, the correct answer is...
''Control room to Alex'' We accept Bear Alex.
Alex: Oh, well, congrats, it seems like Bear is the correct answer Jackie! After the commercial break, the Final Jeopardy!

During the commercial break in the Control Room

Bill: Why did you accepted the answer Joe?
Joe: Well duh! Bear = Bruins = The Zdeno Chara!
Bill: Of course!
