Itunes Movie download Problem (Won't keep downloading when laptop is shut)

Alright, so I downloaded 4 movies off of Itunes for a trip I am going on to the US on Monday. However, it takes about 7 hours to download just 1 movie on my laptop here at my house. I would leave my laptop on the charger to let the movies download all day, but my laptop will just go into sleep mode if I leave it sitting there?

Is there anyway I can close my laptop screen, but have it not go into sleep mode, and keep downloading the movies?

Thanks guys

If you don't mind keeping it open, you can just open your battery options in the bottom right corner and take Sleep Mode right off.

I think the laptop will always go into sleep mode when its shut though.

That is what will likely be the best plan. I'll keep my ears open if anyone else has any ideas though.

Not that old yet. Will Mcdonald's suffice?

Uh, just leave your laptop open and turn the screen off? That's what I do when I'm downloading something overnight.

You can set it so that closing the screen does nothing.
