Exactly. You did things that you enjoyed as a teenager.

If BB enjoys posting on HF and is happy with his current lifestyle, why should anyone care what he does? If him being on the internet isn't harming anyone and it makes him happy, there is no reason anyone should make him feel guilty about it. Everybody's personality and interests are different, causing them to find happiness in different ways.

You originally quoted my post where I said "What were you doing when you were 15/16 years old?"

FYI BB I was the exact same way at your age. Way ahead of the curve maturity wise.

It will take you far brother & life will get easier for you as it generally gets harder for everyone else.

As far as being a mod, I see no point. He's already around & very helpful as is. What's the diff?

He's one of a number of posters here that really make these boards great.

Has nothing to do with that although I know what you're saying.

Sorry I got confused. I can see how my post could come across in a negative manner

lolol I know how you feel. But of all words, the one they don't understand is vibrant? Of all words?

I know i'm not on here as much as others. I think i more so come in bunches.

But i feel a little downtrodden due to this thread. BB's a great kid and were lucky to have him.

I trust his knowledge on the sport and he seems to be really passionate about it all around. That's great for someone to have an outlet like that.

I'm a diehard ranger fan but my 24/7 outlet is film/entertainment and I feel lucky to be doing something I love.

It makes life easier when you're clear on your passions and i think it has become obvious BB is wise beyond his years.

You better never leave us

Right now, we don't really need another mod. We normally had five, but noticed that all the other big boards (Boston, Montreal, etc) had more, so we added two--HBNYC and Fitzy, after you guys voted in the poll. So for the moment, we're good.

We look for people that are here regularly, type high-quality posts, and adhere to the rules. And a minimum of one year as a member.

Brian Boyle is a terrific poster. I don't think of him as a teenager, and neither should anyone else. Let the posts speak for themselves.

Boston and Montreal have 8 and 9 mods respectively.

We're inferior!

Or are we better because we need less mods?

****, now I've confused myself.

Nah, I live in Jersey too. Everything's stupid. Highways are subpar, too many people, NJT stinks, people have weird accents and act all big... NJ is the only state with jughandle turnarounds, where you get lost on them. He's right. they're evil. new Jersey is really... gross.

All I can say is:

The Gretzky picture looks like it's mod avatar worthy.

It's a wallpaper an e-friend of mine made; I just cropped it down to the Gretzky part.

Guy's got an unbelievable collection of wallpapers.

Elitist purple mods make me sick.

Also, powder blue is a better color than purple, so HA (hopefully, I will be able to bask in the warmth of a light blue name, at some point in time).

Stop picking on Steve. It's easy to tell he's a nice kid, even if he does post too much. He already knows the game better than most HF posters.

Most of it is in fun; but I don't understand the people that get so legitimately uppity about my post count.

I <3 this thread. Never realized I was viewed as such a valuable poster.

You aren't, In reality we are all being held at gun point to say these things or we'll all be punished by having to watch every matchup of NJD vs MIN : The battle of the trap........

I kid i kid.
