Degenerate gambling: Clown bet

As some of you know I had a bet with a Montreal Canadiens fan who believed the SK would not get more than 40 pts last season. As you know SK got 50.

Conditions of the bet:

SK get under 40 pts, I get made up like a clown in my black and blue jersey.

SK gets 40 and over said Montreal Habs fan gets made up as a clown in his Montreal jersey.

The results, If you hate clowns, change to another thread. if you hate Habs fans, continue!

Winners, both.

Actually it was touch and go. We went to two hotels and they were booked up. If the third was booked I would have called it off.

It was nice to finaly meet up with BFC I have met a number of Preds fans but all in Nashville when we went down to see the HABS play in 09. It was fun and hey a bet is a bet if you aren't willing to pay up on a bet then don't make the bet

That's sweet. I knew a guy who actually worked as a mime; he ended up going to a Thrashers game with his facepaint still on. Bobby Holik saw us and looked mortified, it was pretty awesome.

Nicely done, you should totally make another bet like that.

For all of the disagreements I've had with dryden since 2007, I have to say him sticking with the bet has certainly increased my respect for him. Well played, sir

Also, can Dryden come down for the two games against Anaheim and stare at Perry? Dressed like a clown, of course

Perry lives about 10 min from my place I can go talk to him for you if you like lol. My daughter and I go watch him and Willy and Ruccin and a few of the others from time to time in the summer.

Thanks I honestly hated it when I got it but it sure has grown on me lol. I am trying to put together the full centennial jersey collection I currently have 3 of them. I have the maroon coloured one with the CA crest with Vezina on it and the babrber pole with Lalonde on it and the blue and white but it has Gionta on it. I am trying to get them done with a player from the year of the jersey.

Just dress like a clown or a gnome if you do. The guy is apparently easier to shake than present before Christmas

I'm still not letting go of the bashing us he did on np.com when he thought we were losing our team.
