Barnaby-Odelein's History?

A little lost with this quote from Arthur Staple, Newsday. Anyone mind shedding some light on this?

PLUS: The Matthew Barnaby-Lyle Odelein fight showed that Odelein still hasnít gotten over Barnabyís "Cornelius" jab at the former Devils defenseman from the 1999 playoffs. A classic

In true Barnaby style of trying to get in his opponent's head and under their skin, Matty called Odelein, "Cornelius" during the playoffs. As in "Cornelius" from "Planet of the Apes". I first read that story on ESPN the Mag. They had an article on the best smack talkers from all 4 major sports. Anyway, he got Odelein so ticked off the first time "Cornelius" came out of his mouth, Odelein nearly put the puck into his own goal.

Ever notice the shape of Odeleins' nose. It literally travels left to right instead of north to south. Definately first runnerup to Tim Hunter.

Big Lyle is sure to be one of the "handsomest men of the NHL".

That being said, I would have loved for him to be a Ranger 4 or 5 years ago. He was quite the solid D-man, and played well in his own zone, especially clearing out the crease. He's lost a few steps now, though.
