Best Empty Net Goals Ever.

Was just watching a video of one of the best individual effort empty net goals I've ever seen. What other goals fit the bill?

1995, whalers missing a wrap-around attempt and putting it down the entire length of the ice into their own net...

Not technically an empty net, but:

The one Kesler scored on Canada in the 2010 Olympics was particularly nice.

Great effort - of course if Subban hadn't focused more on holding on to the puck instead of trying to sell a trip to the refs, there wouldn't have been a faceoff at centre ice...

youtube blocked at work, so I can't tell if anybody already posted it - but I doubt it...

Mike Richards playoff effort to force the empty net situation against Montreal. Goalie challenges, and Richards wins the battle to get the empty netter.

short-handed no less.

Yes, he did. I didn't catch the Boston goal, I was in bed. My father told us about it the next morning.

The playoff goal vs. the Caps I got to see as it happened. My brother and I jumped up and down running through the house like a couple of maniacs, barging into our little sister's room, interrupting my mother reading her a bedtime story.

Wow. Almost a full page in, and no mention of Gretzky's 50th goal in his 39th game back in '82. No one is touching that record.

The one of Datsyuk kicking the puck ahead to Zetterberg and then the bench mauling Datsyuk in celebration.
