weird to think that a team that was one of the "darlings" of the relocationist crowd pre-lockout is becoming a pretty big brand in their own right. With the negativity surrounding the Atlanta relocation it's good to see stuff like this that still confirms that the NHL brand is more definitely growing here in the south.
All these superhero movies are supposed to be leading up to an Avengers movie, right?
Iron Man (and 2, I suppose), The Hulk, Thor, and Captain America? Gotta question how successful the Avengers movie will be when the only movie that hasn't received mixed or mostly negative reviews is the first Iron Man.
Has Captain America received mixed reviews? I really haven't checked it out. It seems to have a decent enough rating on rottentomatoes though, though IIRC not on par with Iron Man.
Next movie I'm looking forward to anyway is Moneyball.
The reviews I've read have said that while it's full of action and "solidly entertaining", it "lacks a wow factor" and has weak character interaction and story-telling. To me, that seems like just another generic action movie.
Next movie I'm going to go see is Cowboy vs. Aliens. You can't resist that cast. Craig and Ford? Yes please. And a nude scene with Wilde doesn't hurt
This is true, I'm waiting for after the first couple weeks in theaters to see that one since I have a gift card for two free tix at Northgate. But that one is either going to be good, or in so bad it's good territory, so that's win frigin win.
