Probably Chelios, Roy, LaFleur or Corson... really loved Saku, Recchi, Nilan and Robinson too... tough to call out one player.

My top 5 favorite, in no order, Koivu, Robinson, Subban, Price, Roy. In the future I expect to see Patches in there.

Gotta be Saku, the guy embodies everything this franchise stands for. A true class act

That being said, Subban is rising up the ranks

Koivu is the reason I watched Hockey closely. He is the reason I followed and came to love the Habs. So, the 70s dream team, the Beliveaus, the Richards, the Lafleurs, the Roys and Drydens were all amazing and beyond legendary, but Koivu is my favourite.

Used to be Mats Naslund, but Koivu since his rookie season. For active players, between Markov and Subban. All time will probably always be Saku.

After more consideration, I felt ridiculous picking one player as a favourite. I've been a fan for 45 years. I'm going by position, and a few specialties.

Goal - Patrick Roy

Def - Robinson, Savard

Center- Beliveau

RW - Lafleur

LW - Shutt

Defensive forward - Gainey

Face off Maestro - Doug Jarvis

Fists - John Ferguson

Heart - Koivu

I used to love Courtnall.....fast. Lemieux was fun to watch....hated Roy for some reason and loved Richer, Damphose and Turgeon.
