Who is Cammalleri playing with

Just curious to know who Cammalleri is playing with in camp. Do you see him being a top two line guy this year. After such a great year in the AHL, what kind of #'s do you see him putting up?
I also was curious to know anything you have on Tim Gleason, who he is paired with in camp, and point production this year (predictions)

Any comments would be nice

He's been playing on the right wing with Roenick and Frolov. He has 2g in 2 games so far.

I'm very high on him, but he has to stay on one of the top 2 lines. He has been on the #1 line so far and has done fairly well. Do you think that is what the organization is hoping for. If he stays on the first line for the year, in my opinion, he will definitely see around 60+ points. The only thing I am woried about is that he is a center. Do you think he can adjust.

The general opinion is that, because of his size and lack of physical play, Cammalleri isn't as well-suited to be a center in the NHL and that he'd have more success at right wing. I tend to agree. Also, it's harder for young players to have success at center and Cammalleri needs the best situation that he can get to overcome some minor consistency issues. I think that he'll do just fine at right wing, especially since he's largely a goal scorer and has JR feeding him the puck. This is his year and he's getting probably the best chance that he'll ever get to establish himself as an NHLer. I think that 24 goals and 21 assists would be a fair expectation for him if he plays most of the year on the top two lines. He could get more, but keep in mind that, with all of the scorers on the team, there's a chance that no one will score 30 goals, but that as many as eight may score over 20.

If you're interested, there's a good TSN video that highlights the Frolov-JR-Cammalleri line and includes an interview clip of Cammalleri: TSN - Kings in Sin City

Brown-Conroy-Demitra
Frolov-Roenick-Cammalleri

Wouldn't have guessed those combos, but now I'm intrigued to see how they play together.

Been a big fan of Cammalleri for a while now.

Maybe he should just learn how to shoot left handed. That would be easier.
